What is The Process Like?
I want to make the process as easy as possible for you while affording me the time I need to understand your business, your goals, deadlines, and the scope of work that I’ll be undertaking.
1. Introduction
We’ll begin with a consultation so that I can familiarize myself with your business and your goals.
2. Next steps
Following our consultation, you will receive a quote that spells out the scope of work, deadlines, and anything I need from you, like your logo.
3. Quote approval
Upon your approval of the quote, 50% of the estimate will be collected before the work begins.
4. How are social media projects handled?
You’ll be presented with a social media editorial plan and strategy with examples of the type of posts that will be included in your plan.
I utilize CoSchedule social media scheduling software; you will receive a login to proofread posts before they are scheduled unless you prefer a more hands-off process which can be accommodated.
Short-term contracts will only be accepted for campaigns lasting one month or less.
All other social media contracts should last at least six months to allow time to build audiences, increase engagement, and develop brand loyalty.

I’m Shelli Jones, an experienced marketer, writer, social media pro, event planner, and graphic designer who is passionate
about helping small businesses grow.
I’ve worked for PBS, NPR, and freelanced with ESPN. I’ve worked with clients including Ford, Toyota, and Kikkoman, at chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, the tech industry, and the skincare industry. I served as the editor for a business magazine – The Whatcom Report, produced a weekly business radio program, organized professional development workshops, and designed Bellinghamopoly, the Bellingham, WA monopoly game.
I work closely with clients to develop customized marketing strategies that suit their unique needs and budget.
My home/office is in beautiful Bellingham, WA. My office mates include three feline assistants/companions / mischief-makers, thirteen blacktail deer, and ten raccoons who occasionally appear in my blogs, social media, website, and in Zoom meetings.
